Scope of Duties:

 

§          Carryout skilled maintenance works independently in the repair, assembly, alignment of mechanical equipment like exchangers, vessels, columns, boilers, structures and able to fabricate pipe work from isometric drawings.

 

§          To be able to identify piping specs, gaskets, bolt nuts, valves etc and able to carryout the work on all the piping.

           

§          Operates simple M/C tools such as grinding machines, drilling machines, impact wrenches etc.

·        Knowledgeable and well-versed in process design documentation procedures such as:

o       Block Flow Diagrams (BFD): Very simple diagrams composed of rectangles and lines indicating major material or energy flows.

o       Process Flow Diagrams (PFD's): Typically more complex diagrams of major unit operations as well as flow lines. They usually include a material balance, and sometimes an energy balance, showing typical or design flow rates, stream compositions, and stream and equipment pressures and temperatures.

o       Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's): Diagrams showing each and every pipeline with piping class (carbon steel or stainless steel) and pipe size (diameter). They also show valving along with instrument locations and process control schemes.

Job Description

 

  • Oversee financial management of foreign operations to include developing financial and budget policies and procedures.
  • Create, coordinate, and evaluate the financial programs and supporting Oracle R12, information systems of the company to include budgeting, tax planning, real estate, and conservation of assets.
  • Approve and coordinate changes and improvements in automated financial and management information systems for the company.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.
  • Oversee the approval and processing of revenue, expenditure, and position control documents, department budgets, mass salary updates, ledger, and account maintenance and data entry.
  • Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and information reports.
  • Develop and implement finance, accounting, billing, and auditing procedures.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards.
  • Interact with other managers to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations.
  • Ensure records systems are maintained in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards.
  • Develop and direct the implementation of strategic business and/or operational plans, projects, programs, and systems.
  • Assist in obtaining the necessary licenses and insurance required to start a business.
  • Analyze cash flow, cost controls, and expenses to guide business leaders. Analyze financial statements to pinpoint potential weak areas.
  • Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Serve on planning and policy-making committees.

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

 

  1. Experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.
  2. Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  3. Knowledge of Oracle R12 financial and accounting reporting systems.
  4. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
  5. Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
  6. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.

 

Qualifications

 

  1. This is normally acquired through a combination of the completion of a Masters Degree in Finance or Accounting with minimum of ten years of experience in a senior level finance or accounting position, and a CA. CWA or CS can be an added qualification
  2. Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
  3. Excellent verbal, analytical, organizational and written skills
